As your children, we come before you, Father in heaven, hoping that your Spirit will reassure us that we are and will continue to be your children. In anticipation of the glorious day when all of the promises made to us will be fulfilled, we yearn to live to the glory of your name under the protection and direction of the Lord Jesus. Give us strength, particularly during difficult and gloomy times. As evil attempts to advance among us and danger threatens, assist us. Keep us safe from all evil, for the kingdom, the power, and the glory belong to you forever. Amen.
