This new series has exceeded my expectations on day one.

Clean air, great food, open space, beautiful and accessible mountains, down to Earth people (well, used to be before it got so big). I moved away from NM, back to California. Awful there, filthy air, no space, horrible traffic, Mexican food sux, people are shallow, and everyone is in competition with each other for the nicest car, nicest house, etc.... horrible values... came back to the Earth... love it here.. . Love New Mexico... and Albuquerque, .. though 'Cruces is better! :D

+Martin McNamara, The people in Albuquerque are as nice as they are anywhere else, well, except Hawaii, where they smother you with Aloha.  If you're going to ABQ, stay at one of the B&B's in old town, and visit the area on Central around UNM where's there's loads of shops, and restaurants.  Also the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is a good intro to Native American culture. The Paseo del Bosque trail is the one that he references, and it's best to have a bicycle.  Also recommend Flying Star, The Range Cafe, and if you want local cuisine, Sadie's or El Pinto --though share the dishes because the servings are gargantuan.

He doesn't love albuquerque, I was in two episodes of better call saul as an extra and he just said bad things about albuquerque. I dont take an offense to it but he just doesn't like the natives here.
He was nice to me when we met but in general, he thinks people in albuquerque are ignorant. I agree some are but not all of the people are.

Ive never been to ABQ as the locals like to call it, but would love to visit some time,  are the people really unfriendly?
