After PayPal give them 1000 from your account, couldn't you tell PayPal the first 1000 you sent was also accidental

This scam actually happened to me during lock down I got the message “I accidentally sent you 1k can you refund it” I said nope mine now thenx blocked him and moved the money out my PayPal so quick and closed my account XD
