From the creators of Flow, Flower, and Journey comes Sky: Children of the Light, another beautiful adventure through a world of fantasy and wonder. It builds on Journey's unique multiplayer system, populating its universe with other players embarking on their own quests, and opens up another universe of surprises and delight. We liked it, in case you were wondering.

This is not normal. How far we have come to see a mobile device look THIS good. This company has my respect and might've sold me to buy Journey before this comes out for Android

Honestly. Games like this is what we all need. I've played a lot of adventure games that include violence and fighting mechanics. I usually stay away from these types of games where action isn't involved. Sky has changed that. Although it doesn't have intense action and moments where you're panicking, it still has my respect just because of how peaceful and calm it is. Like I swear, Everytime I'm standing on a cliff face I always use the sit emote and just admire the graphics. I even go as far as to take a picture just because of how beautiful it is. Overall, Sky is a game that proves games don't have to be intense or action packed just to be good. 10/10 game. Let's hope more games like this is produced.

Today was my second time playing Sky. The most beautiful thing happened:

I made it to the Eye of Eden. Just after I stepped through the gate another player stood by there. I stood still also — i was just advised by the game that it was better to go in groups so I’m sure we were thinking the same thing. I asked to befriend them and they accepted, then reaching out their hand out to me. They took me through Eden and we switched when we were struck down. They were much better at the controls than I was so I let them lead the way. I made sure to use my gifts and spells to aid in our journey.

We were struck down A LOT, even separating multiple times by the rubble and attacks. I’d always call out to let them know where I was, and they’d come help me. Vice versa, when they lost their light I made sure to give mine as soon as I got myself out of the storm.

We worked together like this all the way until we reached the centre of the eye. I made sure to thank them often by bowing as I really couldn’t of made it this far without them. The game asked if we were sure to go on as there was no turning back. It felt so surreal — they let go of my hand. As if to ask if I really wanted this. I thought about it for a couple of seconds, and walked closer to the last portal. I waited for them and we walked through it together.

We got separated for real this time: the storm was *intense* in the centre of the eye. We had no real time to recover. We both went on to do what was needed separately trying to stay close and aiding each other regain some strength (in the form of light) when we could.

I died first, and my journey partner being the better of us two in that regard lasted a whole longer before meeting the same fate. As a spirit/ soul/ blur light I followed them around in their last moments, as a way of encouraging them that they can do this.

We both made it to the end, I won’t get into it as that much couldn’t be a spoiler but it was absolutely beautiful! We continue to call out to each other excitedly — _we did it!!_ We continued to stay close while navigating the beautiful scenery.

Once we made it to the very end, we waited for each other again. Upgrading from a measly high five (that we upgraded to literally in the storm — don’t recommend! Lol) to a hug. It was gorgeous, especially with the music and the scenery to match! We held hands one last time going towards our final destination. Before we let go. For the final time we had to go through the portal separately. It was like a scene out of anime!!🥺

They were standing in front of the portal that shined very brightly, and i faced them. I bowed once more as a sign of gratitude. And waved goodbye. They did the same things before we went though our final portal of the game….

After the game I waited for them at ‘home’. I waited for a couple of minutes, hopeful that they’d come back. And they did!! She called out to me as I tried to recognise her avatar. I smacked my call button like crazy running towards them to see if I could hug them, as that was my only way of knowing of it was really them.

They accepted my hug!

And we continued to run around each other like excitable puppies!

I then took their hand and dragged them through the Prairies portal where I tired to state my gratitude through the chat. Turns orange out they were Spanish and couldn’t text in English! I quickly searched up how to say ‘great game’ in spanish and out it in the chat. They thanked me and we later played hide and seek (as I had the emote) while others in the area came to join!

Totally surreal experience!! I asked for their Reddit as I thought I could thank them on there, but it made me realise how kind people on this game were and how beautiful human interaction can be! We were two complete strangers who happened to arrive at the same level at the right time, and have both been lucky enough to have that same person be willing to venture into the Eye of Eden! Every time I fell they came back for me, waited for me, or led the way for me to follow. And we got no reward for helping each other except the comfort of companionship throughout the hardest level.

Its only my second day y’all, and this is my first open world game ever! Ten days ur if ten experience for real!!!

**TLDR: I made a great friend in the Eye of Eden, completing the level with them and befriending them at the end. We aided each other throughout, without really needing to but because we wanted to. Even waiting for each other towards the end, even though we could’ve parted ways much sooner! We shared a hug and parted ways at the very end, only to be reunited a few minutes later! And play a game of hide and seek! I’m super thankful as without them I wouldn’t have made it so far. I really made a virtual friend without ever having to talk to them. But instead show my gratitude through my actions (in this case — my gameplay!)**

Thank you for reading of you did! I appreciate this is VERY long, but I couldn’t help but share it!!! I mean this player and I worked together for a good hour and a half! I couldn’t be more thankful for such a player experience!!!

I hope more mobile games take this route. First of all, the game is drop dead gorgeous. I love the art style and music.

I hope mobile games start to show their potential again. We used to get gems like N.O.V.A. 3, Infinity Blade, Zenonia, and Chaos Rings.

Definitely the best free game I have ever played on mobile
When I first saw and played it, I was expecting to hit a paywall or timer at some point, but NOPE, this is one game where you can't just buy your way to the top

Assuming the company doesn't go all cash grab like every other game, this one will forever have a place on my phone (P.S, it looks truly INCREDIBLE on the galaxy fold)

I got the game recently and after a little while playing it another player came up to me and we became friends and they took me by the hand and took me to so many levels and showed me where many spirits were for about an hour. When I had to go, I yawned, waved goodbye and we hugged. I've never seen a more beautiful multilayer mechanic than the one in this game, it's simplistic and optional nature makes interactions kinder.

I love Sky. I have only been playing for a little while now, but I love it. I found it relatively easy to finish, but I soon realized finishing isn’t the point. The point is to go through and find new areas to explore and new people to meet.

The dev team has confirmed a multi-console release in the future with cross-play throughout all devices.

This game is abnormally good. It's so unique for a mobile game and very soothing. And the overall mechanics are brilliant. Communication with jestures and making noises to call out is just wonderful and very different.

Repsect to that game company!

The way multiplayer communication is implemented is genius. taking other players by the hand is such a great idea and this could very well be implemented in other multiplayers games of other sorts in a similar fashion.

Secondary ending? I've done a run by myself but am unaware of there being another ending
