Even though I have stopped playing wow Arthas is what made me want to play the mmo. Before his expansion was even a thing I wanted to play the game and immerse myself in its lore to see if there were more like him. And when the expansion came out it was a driving force behind me playing the game. He was such a badass. even if I don't play anymore I still love his backstory and development.

This scene gives me goosebumps every time i see it... you watch the final hours of arthas after watching his downfall from noble paladin to merciless death knight... and finally, the Lich King himself.

I love the whispers in this head as he walks up to the throne reminding him of how much of an asshole he is, Arthas knew what he did was wrong... but there was no turning back, his destiny was written the moment he took frostmourne and the only thing left to do is to claim his rightful place as the leader of the scourge, the very thing he sought to destroy... sorry Anakin... but Arthas' face-heel turn will always be better.

Fucking love Warcraft 3's story... shame WOW ruined it.

Arthas never became the Lich King. The Blade burns the users soul. When he returned home, he was nothing more than an undead puppet. Arthas was dead, and a slave moved in his body.
The Undead Orc Ner'zhul took the body of a long dead prince, that's all.
