Projection Mapping and Augmented Reality for Pervasive AR Environment

Recently, with the advent of Apple ARKit and Microsoft HoloLens, augmented reality (AR) applications are attracting more interest than ever. In this seminar, I will introduce a special branch of AR other than mobile or HMD, called projection-based spatial AR (projection AR). Firstly, I will talk about the basic concept and history of augment reality and briefly introduce some of the key papers in the field of projection AR. Next, I will discuss my recent works on the related fields. Finally, I will conclude the presentation with some remarks on the future prospect of AR researches applications.
