Think about what you said. Have you ever known the VA to make anything clear? Even when we thought it was apparent.

I truly appreciate YOU for all that you do to keep us informed of all legislation, new and reworked. I do research so I know that researching all legislative articles and news articles is time consuming, so “Thank you”.

No I cannot. That’s my goal though. Slow and steady. Carry on

I am 100% but due to my social skills, I cannot communicate well with others. So I am NOT working. I can have a hobby but with my disability I cannot stand up for long periods, cannot carry heavy items, etc. SO that is limited as well. I need help with chores around the house and cleaning is limited also. Family have to help at times, and when medications are taken for more than a week, they have to drive me around. It sucks but that is life. I took a medication and it literally made me to where I could not open my eyes. I feel more like a science experiment like that. I stopped the medication and now can see pretty well. Docs tell me keep taking this regiment--are you kidding?

Like you always say, not all you say is not for me but I can pick up a few nuggets here and there that may help. Thanks

So you can work a full time job with a 100% mental health rating???

Correct me if i am wrong. %100 P&T you can work full time but if you got your %100 through the TDIU method then you can work but cannot make more than $1500 a month or something like that.

You can work unless you are under TDIU. I would highly recommend though if you’re working and are for example P&T that you seek and have a position that can accommodate you in a reasonable accommodation for all your disabilities. This in case the VA looks at you then with a reasonable accommodation that covers all of your disabilities; you can show them and you’ll be covered. For example PTSD ; if you can’t work with other people cause you have social impairment but, you have been accommodated to work in an area alone then you should be good. Also continue to seek medical treatment for all your conditions this includes taking your meds. Hope this helps.

Good info, I’m rated 90% TDIU and payed at 100% it all started with my cancer went into remission and they said I was getting better so they reduced me from my 100 P&T

I think there is a monetary cap for what you can earn on TDIU

So hypothetically if you start out at 80% and get on tdiu where you are payed at 100% then your other claims get accepted which put you at scheduler 100% combined p and t. But you still have a tdiu marker on you. How does this work?

I thought you get 100% mental while still being able to work. There are to many conflicting responses to this. Can anyone outline what the truth is? If someone is 100 metal I have been told you are still employable.

Yes, don't forget SMC-S cannot work also.
