Great video- some excellent info like the little line in the transducer. My hds9 has the 2 transducers with it- and I bought the transducer mounting bracket/plate. So it doesn't matter if I put this on the right or left of the motor (prop)? And does it matter if I put the big transducer on the left or right of the "skimmer"? Thank you!

absolute headache, this is probably the best advice talking rooster tail, bubbles and it only operates fine on low, will try this.

They make mounting brackets now that don't require any holes in your boat just an FYI...

I have never had any trouble with transducers, but I just bought a hook2 9 tripleshot and cannot find the sweet spot with that big transducer, any help appreciated not much on the web

It doesn't matter which side. It just needs to be on the opposite side of the kicker. The most important thing is that it's at least 12 inches from the outboard prop.

good im attempting to mount mine sensed the mechanic try to charge me 700 dollars to install it for the lowrance elite 9Ti

I've always heard that Starboard side is where transducer should be located, but I noticed this boat it's on the port side. Is there a really a difference?
