Coming from someone who has been a card magician for a good 3-4 weeks now, this feels like a great routine to pickup. When I do get around to finally showing people some tricks, they're going to know I'm totally new. The fumbling around trying to palm the card will play right into their expectations of someone who doesn't know what they're doing and probably should have practiced a bit more before showing off.

I've never enjoyed routines that disclose any secrets to spectators during a performance--even at the expense of performing another trick or "demonstration." Just me. Still, this does not take away my opinion that your instructional video channel on magic is by far one of the best out there.
