"Help that never came" was absolutely the best line, showing the fact that the Polish were all by themselves and yet held hope for a better future.

"Women, men, and children fight they were dying side by side and the blood they shed upon the streets was a sacrifice willingly paid"

"All the Streetlights in the city broken many years ago, break the curfew, hide in sewers, Warsaw it's time to rise now!" is the best part I think, because it showed how the people had to live under the nazi regime and started a Uprising

How can a hard metal band make this old man tear up while listening to these banging songs? These guys are the soundtrack of the horrors of war! They find the beauty of heroism and courage and the tragedy of good and decent who are destroyed by their enemies superior firepower.

"Voices from underground, whispers of freedom. Rise up and hear the call!" Spirit and resilience and an unwavering strength in the face of the worst adversity.

As an English speaker (only) I am blown away by Joakims powerful delivery of “Warsarwo walcz!” Such powerful emotion and desperation are conveyed by these two words. Well done Sabaton 🙌🏼

The whole song. But seriously as a Pole the line ''Help that never came'' hits hard as it truly highlights how my people where left for dead by the other allies/USSR and the ''Whispers of freedom'' that focuses on how the mere idea of freedom motivates thousands to fight.

"..men, women, children fight, they were dying side by side, and the blood they shed upon the streets, was a sacrifice willingly payed.."

That one always makes me tear up! The whole song is a masterpiece!
I'm waiting for Sabaton to be nominated for the Nobel Price of Literature, because of the songwriting and because of what impact your songs have on people around the world! 🤘

"Help that never came"... makes me sad every time. And it made the rest for me more heroic, to do it all alone

Either "1944, help that never came" or "Voices from underground, whispers of freedom." This whole song is amazingly written, one of my favorite Sabaton songs.

Fighting street to street in a time of hope and desperation did it on their own and never lost their faith.

Women, men and children fight
They were dying side by side
And the blood they shed upon the streets
Was a sacrifice willingly paid

This makes my heart cry
