Triumph Tiger 900 GT vs 900 RALLY differences

Here are the differences between 2023 Triumph Tiger 900 GT and 2023 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally. I also list what's new for 2024 in the Tiger 900 lineup with its minor changes.

After having ridden both Tiger 900 GT and RALLY, I've got certain conclusions about who may benefit from riding one and the other, so check it out to choose one that will suit you best.

this weekend I have sold my 2023 Street Triple 765 RS - although it is a great bike I will order the Tiger 900 GT PRO on Monday - I want the comfort and will do some longer trips with it.

Thanks for the honest review . I have a deposit on both models . I will test ride them both to see which suits me better, but I am a little concerned that the GT has no front preload adjustment .

Interesting evaluation, I’m one of those that is deciding between the two bikes right now. I started with the GT and thought I’d be happy there, then the Rally took over (as I got 3 bikes in the garage with a 21” front wheel)(planning on getting rid of a few of those) I was believing that the Rally while having its set-backs with steering may slow me down a little on the street and would save me better off road as we sometimes get into a trail and be over our heads. I could be wrong but the Rally with its 21” and suspension may slow me down a bit (which I may need) and on my present long haulers today BMW & Ducati’s are allowing me to rides too fast overall. The Rally may be the tool best for me.

Thank you for the honest review! It would be really exciting to see what you think of the 2024-2025 model, especially now that the bike has been updated with features like new quickshift, a new engine, improved windshield, TFT display from 1200, suspension, and more. :-)

I agree. I like the GT pro seating position much better than the Rally Pro. Same height and inseam as you. What were they thinking with that forward lean? That being said, I don't enjoy the feeling of sitting on top of the bike as opposed to in it (like the Africa Twin). As a result of that I found that wind protection was not as good on the Tiger 900 lineup. I believe the 1200 is better.

I went to the Rally version and it is very comfortable indeed. I have used it in the city as well, which is pretty damn good when filtering in the traffic (handlebar is taller than the car's mirrors).

This is a difficult choice indeed. Both fits to my 192cm. As off road should not be more than 10pc of my ride time, I should go to the GT but there is no preload adjustment on the front. Actually I will wait for the Stelvio as the latter promises a lot.
