I received a copyright claim as soon as the video was uploaded but at least my channel did not get a strike for it.

My favourite CCR song of all time. And the soaring guitar solo is just amazing.

I hear you man! The keys kick in in and then that guitar line comes in right after. I just discovered this about a year ago. Haunting.

I agree the rhythm section of Creedence is outstanding Stu Cook and Doug Clifford one of the best in all rock.

I loved this track when I first heard it in 1970 and haven't tired of it since. What an amazing album opener. KG

I had never heard this CCR song before. I certainly liked it. Now I'm thinking of getting the CD Cosmo's Factory. Thank you 🙂

Absolutely THE best CCR song!! This is a total band performance - the tightness, the groove, the feeling. Must have taken a LOT of practice - especially the slow speedup in the jam section!! John's vocal & guitar work, Doug's drumming, Stu's bass playing - & lets not forget Tom's metronomic rth guitar playing (which was mixed too low in a lot of the later CCR stuff). Then there's John's ethereal guitar overdub & the piano by Stu or John (most likely Stu as he was the only one with piano playing experience.)

I don't know how I missed this video back in October, but it's awesome! You got me hooked on "Ramble Tamble" a few years back and every time I play it, I look just like you in this video!!! Someone always seems to walk in my room and look at me like I'm an idiot! XD You also get the credit for turning me on to "Heartbroken Bopper"! :)

Ramble Tamble sounds like a combination of three songs to me Larry, Who Do You Love, I Want You (She's So Heavy) and 1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be). Bob.

I heard it a thousand times . I read Fogerty's book but I so agree with you about Clifford . Years later as strong as Kenny was Clifford nailed " Born on the Bayou " 3rd verse ....the hesitation was perfect ! I love your critique !

Doug Clifford used Camco drums which were very rare and their signature sound is a part of ccr's sound.

Gotta love CCR!! I have to say that I was one of the few who had NEVER heard that song before lol. It was great! Thanks for making this video & introducing me to this song 😀 I do still think Born On The Bayou is their greatest song but that's just my opinion 😋 Great tune Larry! 👍👍

Yeah, sometimes I look like an idiot. I don't care. You know why? Cause I'm not an idiot, I'm just having fun. Larry Graves, 2020

That's why we love you.

I love your choreography. CCR, of course, rules.

Absolutely love this tune, but my favorite CCCR song has gotta be their massive cover of “I Heard It Through the Grapevine”.

Side note, “I’m not an idiot, I’m just having fun.” This world needs more people with that attitude.

Wow! I´m not familiar with CCR, I only knew "Proud Mary" before watching this video and I found it quite boring. But this hit me right away, what an amazing song! And what an amazing reaction, Larry! Thank you!

To me the entire song is pure Creedence. I heard for the first time today on another ramble ramble video a reaction actually that one of the commenters said it sounds like the Beatles. First time I heard this In almost 50 years of listening to ccr. I never thought it sounds like the Beatles still don't. Sure now that you point it out I can see wear you coming from. But to me it's pure ccr.

I like the part where Fogerty plays two guitars at the same time.
