The Diary of Anne Frank is a real diary detailing the life of Anne Frank and the people who resided in the Secret Annex during the WWII in 1942. Her diary describes her day-to-day experiences along with interactions with her family and other members. When the Secret Annex was discovered by the Gestapo (Secret Police) and their arrest, they were sent to a concentration camp. The only survivor of these camps was Otto Frank, Anne Frank's father. His retrieval of the diary spread the legacy of Anne Frank to millions of people in the future.
