The music, the style of the old map, it just feels so much different. I can't really explain it but when I hear the original music I get this really wierd feeling. Just such a great game. Also I completely forgot that skullpiercer was ever a purple hopup. ;)

Looking back at it this game wasn't as sweaty as it is today which is expected but man I miss the vibes of early Apex and wish I could live this experience again.

I've never been up to date with any game out there unlike this one. I love this game and I'm glad I downloaded it in the first week of launch. Here's to another great year!

I remember it all from my first drop with friends and getting rekt every match, to finally getting my first win as Gibraltar. Then came Octane and I didn't like him at first but he became my main, and I was on the grind with this game nearly every day. I met some Swedish randoms online who we formed a long time squad with, and we grew together becoming stronger, learning from ours and each others mistakes, but then I was left to wander alone again after my squad unfortunately disbanded. I dived headfirst into the beauty that was solo's free to do as I please, every kill further pumping adrenaline through my body until that first win. I grew more powerful, becoming bloodthirsty and untamed. My Octane reached 3k kills, still the highest I have today of any legend. Then came the hop ups, oh god were they broken yet satisfying to use. Everything up til then was a blast. The music, the map, the combat, the glitches, the meta, the map changes, the events. Apex was a unique charm of a BR. No other BR game could have brought the same addicting satisfaction that Apex Legends did. I rode the highs and the lows, and now I can only hope for the glory days of Kings Canyon to return. Now I've gotten rusty after abandoning Season 3 but I still have hope. This wasn't a game. It was a journey.

The aesthetic of S0 is so special and unique. That feeling of wonder, glory, competition, fear, freedom, tropics and deadly stakes is a potent one. I wish there was more media that explored this theming
