What about YouTube? Is it social media? I recently deleted my Instagram account permanently. Only one app i got stuck that is YouTube. What should i do?

There is the trend of buying dumb phones, but honestly is not practical for most people. I think ideally the best compromise is buying a small phone, but is next to impossible to find a small phone these day (probably the iPhone SE is the only exception). Small screens are not as engaging as the bigger phones.

So for most people the way to go is to “dumbify” the phone they already have. Eliminating most apps, relying more on your computer, putting the screen on black and white… create friction, as you said.
