I just started learning inDesign. The 2022 version seems to be a bit more flexible about creating tables without selecting the text tool and inserting into a text frame.

Hi All Table Tutorials mention that you can add columns, but my table goes crazy when I do so. Everybody just demonstrates how to add rows, mentions columns, but never clicks on it.
Fyi: by going crazy I meant it becomes way larger than the page and it seems impossible to drag it back into place.

I changed the dimension into 1 inch × 1 inch for a single square in my table. But in the printout its little bit less than a 1 inch ( about 1 mm ). What should I do for it?

What do you do if you don't have the Table option listed in the top tab? Can you find the Table option somewhere else?
