As much as I love Dorothy, I felt sad for Rose in this episode, especially in the scene after this where she reminisces her first birthday after her husband died.

This has got to be right up there with one of my fave scenes. I was on the floor laughing for about half an hour when I first saw it in my youth. Still cracks me up to this day. Perfection in comedic timing from both as well as the looks each give. How they managed to keep straight faces all the way through is beyond me. I wonder how many takes the needed to film it. LOL

The comedic timing of these girls will never be matched and will probably never be like this again. That pause for effect of bea arthur after she popped the balloon is hysterical and genius.

I know everyone is saying this was mean of Dorothy's part and I admit, it kind of was, but Rose's timing to goof off was bad and what she did was childish. They're being paid to host a party and Rose spent 45 minutes on something she could have done on her own time.
