The third and final season of the American animated anthology series What If...?, based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name, explores alternate timelines in the multiverse that show what would happen if major moments from the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) occurred differently. The season is produced by Marvel Studios Animation, with Matthew Chauncey serving as head writer and Bryan Andrews and Stephan Franck directing.

Jeffrey Wright stars as the Watcher, who narrates the series, alongside numerous MCU film actors reprising their roles. Development began by July 2022, with Chauncey replacing previous head writer A. C. Bradley for the season by December 2023. Andrews and Franck returned from previous seasons to direct.

The third season premiered on the streaming service Disney+ on December 22, 2024, and each of its eight episodes will be released daily until December 29. It will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.

I watched Episode 7 and man..they still pushing the Girl power / A-Force theme. I really want them to focus of Steve Rogers CA, Tony Stark, Black Widow and Ta’challa BP. Hell focus on the original 6, even Ant- man. I liked season 1 and 2. Though the Captain Carter was getting old. Marvel should have focused on the What If stories of Marvel comics instead of the MCU. It probably do better than the MCU version.

The only interesting episode in season 3 up till now was the bucky and red guardian episode. I really did Howard duck episode aswell ngl😅 but thats saying something. I think we Are getting an x men episode tomorrow so i can’t wait for that and the finale tends to he good aswell at least

Mr Reynolds, I'm afaraid there's still some cleaning up to do with Marvel. This show show is as big a mess as anything they did. Season 3 is becoming very apparent of that.

This is MCU not comics. Storm should not be in this show. Season 3 is a disappointment. Episode 6 was trash. Always making the heroes looking flawless. How about some struggle and earnestly. Season 1 and 2 was fine, it how’s up like the infinity Saga. But season 3 is what Marvel became after End Game, barely unwatchable.
