We have stopped forcing adults to act like adults. As a result our nation and culture continue to grow weaker and atrophy like the ones of us who embrace vice.
The phrase “as long as you’re not hurting anyone and it makes you happy”. Although at it’s surface level it may sound reasonable, nearly everything you’re describing has been the result of that idea. Sure, someone’s behavior might not affect me directly, but more often than not it’s destructive to the individual themself. As this degenerate behavior continues to be accepted and persists in society, it begins to seep down into the younger generations.
