Game looks great but grandpa sounds like every corporate safety video I have ever had to sit through. They missed the mark with voice actors.

Ok, this is... intriguing, certainly more immersive. I can see why this "david" character we saw in one of the 25 second videos would think that he's stuck in a simulation, especially if Grandpa Walter magically teleports without walking AND talks to us loud enough that it wouldnt be drowned by the engines running (which I'd logically explain by saying he simply has a 2-way radio/walkie talkie on hand)
Now, to more pressing matters, do all the maps have an American grandpa walter? And have giants confirmed whether we modders can customise NPC characters or not?

Haha... the voice/cadence and the "kiddos" are just silly. But it's nice to see some sort of interactive NPC. Would be really cool to see this integrated into the contracts somehow.

the voice for Grandpa is a bit like a corporate safety video narrator voice and also i'm a bit disappointed that they didn't do animations for Grandpa, but the game looks very good!
