Floor giving Floorgasms around the world! There was a Nightwish cover and one from her solo album in there, when she was singing in English. She did learn German in school, but probably didn't speak it much over the years, so she did take a crash course in learning German when she knew she was going to be on the show. She wanted to be able to converse as much as possible in the native language.

Its to bad that those videos are not available on YouTube. They were however all on Dailymotion and luckily i downloaded them all and it seems now they are not even up there anymore. Or only a few but not all, but just take a look there what you can find.
There were just so great moments when these 2 guys said something like : "That was exactly how the song should have sounded, our original was just a crappy beta version" 😂🤣

Greetings and Love from Köln/Cologne, Germany again. Great reaction like always, buddy. I was so excited as i heard there's gonna be a 'Sing meinen Song' show with Floor in it. And it was awesome. Over 6 weeks, every week one musician got his special evening, like in Beste Zangers. Floor's night was very emotional, hard to watch when Floor's eyes get teary.
She don't spoke german before, she only sang german in the song/arie "Die Lustige Witwe". So the show was recorded somewhere in Africa and they went to this beautyful place on vacation 😅with a little work beside. Serious now, they stayed together there four 2-3 weeks, or so, in a huge Villa and to be able to hold conversations with her Art Colleges and for the german TV viewers and fans, Floor learned really to speak fluent german. And that in only 2/3 months. She said her father teached her on facetime.Wasn't easy she said. Again i was deeply impressed by her sacrificeness she gives in every thing she does. And she even speaks better german than me 😅...she's just a joy to watch...stay safe, mijn maatje 😊...hehe, i always think of the fish food, the 'Hering', called 'Matjes'. But it spell's with just one 'a'.

Hey Saeed, nice one, Can you imagen, Floor said in a interview, that this show didn't do much for her, commercial wise, because this was only to be seen on a "pay tv" channel in Germany.
She gave, like always, 100% , just a bit sad, it didn't get the big audience it deserves. I have seen some of the other singers to and it was a fun show to see and hear. Well, you loose and win some.😐

Hi Saeed, leren ze in België echt geen Duits? Ik heb alle afleveringen gezien ( commerciële tv in Duitsland). Je kunt opnames van deze show- illegaal- nog wel terugvinden. De muziek staat gewoon op YouTube. Haar Duits was wat gezakt van school….maar ze is haar Duits weer ophalen bij een taalinstiuut. Dat deed ze prima overigens. Mijn favoriete is Unikat, een nummer van de Duitse band SPD. Overigens…was weer een leuke reactie.

Eigenlijk een misselijke streek om Floor tussen een aantal amateurs te laten optreden.
Maar vergeleken met Floor ben je al snel een amateur/beginneling.

Floor floores anyone, anywhere, any time, in any genre. She, capital S, is by far and beyond, the very best singer in the known universe. It is a combination of her Immaculate technique, her lung capacity, her stage presence, her ability to transfer emotions, her giving it all.

Unfortunately there are still very strict copyright issues regarding that entire show, which was still filmed early 2022, still within that insane C-regime in South Africa. I didn't know much about the other artists, but they were all self-producing singer-songwriter type of musicians, who made P+R for themselves. They were pretty much known by concert go-ers, but no super-stars in mainstream. It must have been from there, where Floor got her inspiration to publish her first solo-album with her own songs. In an interview she said that it had been such delightful holidays, camouflaged as labor, because she was locked up with like-minded music nerds. Each day some of her cokllelagues were sitting in front of the piano, floating the villa with different covers or even freshly created music. The whole vibe in this holiday mansion was so inspiring and in addition they had plenty of fun together outside the recordings.
Floor's father grew up next to the German border und is fluent in German, so she asked him about 3 weeks before departure, if she can have some online sessions with him, as she is going to do a TV-show that will be in German. We have first seen it in "please learn the setlist in 48 hrs.", so when Floor is into something she becomes obsessed. After those 3 weeks she was able to do all that basic kind of conservation in German with only a few marginal notes in English.
The result was that during their Human:Nature tour, Floor was talking in German to the fans during the Nightwish-shows in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

I love your reactions, also this one. Yes, Floor is really a great artist, hard-working but with so much love for what she is doing, and at the same time a great human being. A powerhouse of a woman, strong and demanding on stage, but also very feminine, sensitive and vulnerable. She should be a role model for (young) women not all these skinny dressed to kill barbies you can see as "influencers" or hear as "singers" (without all this auto-tune and other audio technology nobody would listen to them).
