He played one of my local venues in Birmingham and they said there was like 8 people there, and they were there for the support band...

This reminds me of that Olympian lady from Hungary that managed to make it into the Olympics from working the system. She had no skiing skills whatsoever lol. That story was hilarious and ridiculous. This one is equally hilarious and ridiculous lol

I thought I'd chip in since I'm Scott Eames's drummer and friend as well as being a fan of your channel. Scott and Jered haven't spoken in near a decade because Jered "cuts corners" and Scott does things the right (read: hard) way. He wants to love and support his brother like family should, but for his own career/sanity he had to cut ties many years ago. To put it in meme terms; He is dissapoint.

The rest of this post is my opinion and is in no way affiliated with anything Scott has said. As someone in the metal side of the music industry, I can promise you Threatin and any of his future projects are not going to survive. Meatheads are close knit and respect hard work above all else, especially at the professional level, and we do not allow this kind of behavior. We police ourselves too harshly for someone to get away with or make a career off of something like this.

Honestly, this is the first time I'm hearing about any of this. Legitimately. However, I don't think he deserves a record label. So many people are trying to make it in the music industry and some guy with amazing marketing skills gets in Scot-free? That's as bad as E. L. James having a marketing degree to result in Fifty Shades fame. Hell no. Just make him part of the marketing team for _real_ bands.

I don't think he's a bad guy at all. It sort of reminds me of The Secret to My Success or How to Succeed in Business Without Even trying. It's really a commentary on how pointless these systems are when it comes down to it.

All I can say is Wow. That’s a lot of effort.

Fun update on this story, he's actually been booked to play The Underworld in London. I almost went to the show in Manchester too, not my kind of thing but I knew someone who was meant to be supporting. Kind of wish I had now just so I could have been "part of history" hahaha.

I know how to check my notifications on YT and Instagram...and that’s about it. So this *”god tier”* level of compulsive lying and social media manipulation, genuinely makes my brainhole hurt!!
Now fastfoward 2-3 years to 2021... Yeah, I don’t think it worked out for him. 🤣

This is the misscribe of the music world

Edit: nevermind this is the handbook for mortals of the music world-both have faded and nobody wants to touch them

Actually, I searched for his music and downloaded his album. When the story broke, it piqued my interest, just not enough to pay money for it. I am not a rock music fan, and I am also disappointed in modern music. With that in mind, I'd say his music was well-made, but average. Some people on Reddit at the time said he could have reached somewhere if he didn't invent this stunt that also made some venue managers mad.

I am an actual touring musician. I have a band, we struggle to make ourselves known, but we do it out of love for our craft and we have a lot of fun. It's also a lot of work, though, and it's sometimes exhausting (but always worth it).

If I saw this dude face to face, you know what my reaction would be? "Oh, hey, you're that guy who faked an entire band! [immediately punches the guy in the face]"

It's been over a year. It did not work.
