That's not true. If you have a personal supply that is under 90days worth, it is perfectly legal to bring back with you into the US. As long as you have a prescription for it

He's right and wrong ..that half price is buying it off the shelf. If she had benefits thru work up here as she does down there her out of pocket would be about 10-20% of that 250.00
