The best bloodline is, of course, from a result of a loving relationship between a man and his sister. Or mother.

Even if you muted the Ironside intro, it still sounded in my head.

Blood of the Duelist also makes your bloodline better at children's card games.

I was playing a Chinese Empire trying to fully colonize the steps. I managed to found the Architect bloodline. Combining that with the fact I could hold Cities without penalty, and I managed to get approximately infinite money. I started building max-level Hospitals as a hobby.

My favorite CK II play through was one that I started in 769 with Ragnar's bloodline. Eventually I formed Scandinavia, took over most of Europe, and got the Alexander bloodline. However my Empress at the time was old, infertile, and a lesbian. She died a few years later with no offspring and her titles passed to her nephew but not the bloodline. Earlier in that same campaign one of my ruler's got the duelist bloodline. This led to an event chain where he traveled to the Abbasid Caliphate and was basically just murdering every high ranking person he could find. Eventually he was captured and died fighting the Caliph's pet bear.

Man I really appreciate your subtle humor. Very helpful video, of course, but the clever jokes really add to it. Please keep up the good work. I would like to see some Victoria II vids in the future if possible btw.

Once playing as Bohemia I've had so many bloodlines by various kings by 1300, one for Boleslav the Cruel, one for ruling in peace, one for winning foreign wars and three for saint-Kings (I've even had two saint-Kings in the row)

Which one of the two times? The onewere they fell across europe, pillaged and destroyed everything and went on a killing spree from breitenfeld to poltava
or when they were vikings?

I'm glad to say I've gotten both Alexander's bloodline and Ashokas bloodline, ashokas is surprisingly easier in my opinion as I got it almost immediately after forming the indian empire. Alexander's just relies on way to much rng

I've gotten the Alexander bloodline numerous times in my playthroughs, didn't even know it had specific requirements, I generally get it a year or so after having the prestige required and being powerful

Imagine a ruler with the Bloodlines of Attila, Alexander, and Charles Martel. You get generals with powerful stats (usually 20-30 martial in my experience), your heir gets to practice as a mercenary so they're also a badass warrior, and you can put all those badass warriors to use in a massive invasion.

One bloodline I really want to obtain is the "Dragon" one. I've seen that only on the wiki, but oh boy it's seems fun for the roleplay!

i find the self found bloodline where you increase commander capture chance per battle really strong. battling the ruler gives it around 50/50 chance of capturing the ruler and immediately winning the war. You can defeat way stronger realms that way.

You made a mistake: forming India gives you the samrat chakravartin bloodline (it gives monthly piety, -1% revolt risk and +5opinion to hindu/buddhist/jain), the ashoka reincarnation bloodline works in a similar fashion to alexander's, but instead of europe or the near east the event requires having a capital in india and following a dharmic religion (on top of being an emperor, not content with at at least 15k prestige)

Also, a personal favorite of mine that I feel deserves a mention: the irish bloods of both biran boru and niall of the nine hostages unlock tanistry succession (regardless of culture, I just incorporated it in a steppe nomad game and I have the option to switch), arguably one of the best successions in the game
