As I get older, I care less and less about what people think of me. I just want to be myself. If people don't like me as myself, I couldn't care less 😊

O.M.G. This is me to a 'T'. I don't wear make-up or colour my hair and am more than happy in my own company. I eat a very healthy diet and don't drink or smoke. Most of my clothes are from a charity shop, but I choose wisely. I read, mostly psychology and biographies and listen to music. I can't even remember the last holiday we had, and when we did have a holiday I wanted to be near animals that I could pet every morning, so we had a farm holiday cottage.

Thank you for pointing out it is not necessary to wear makeup, very rarely have I worn it. Beauty is what is held inside not for all to see. 1

I love peace, I love me. I love to get dressed up for me. I love to wear make up for me. I love to pamper myself for me. I am happy within and understand that I bring in my own happiness and love others that respect self and me. ❤❤

"A pretty face doesn't mean a pretty heart"

Overgroomed & over (or under) dressed just screams insecurity.

This video makes me feel appreciated; thank you. I'm 71, wore a little makeup for work-related events, but now almost never use it. Mainly I resent the time and money used to put it on, take it off, buy more, repeat. And, I prefer the soft look of my plain face. My white hairs mix with brown, like a "blue roan" if I were a horse: I like it. I remain mostly slim, lithe and strong, and from the back, men I'd rather not get involved with would take me for someone younger, if the white hair weren't shouting "Nope!" I like men my age; we have more to talk about. I cherish a few close friends, especially after the death of my beloved husband, but I've always been an introvert. I recharge in solitude. And while less sexual attention is hard on my ego, the rest of me really likes this new invisibility: I move with greater freedom. Further, in contrast to our culture's obsession with youth, age is a victory. To be a survivor proves wisdom and stamina. Why would we not be proud. And um, yeah. The old guy on the cover graphic? Why not an old woman?

"That profound sense of self'....The best beauty yet profound is beauty and confidence from within. You don't need to wear mask, makeup or seek external validations to glow.😉

It's true that the real beauty is seen when a woman doesn't wear makeup. There is beauty in simplicity.

I am really enjoying the content of this episode. I think it's funny that the creator of this content decided to put a picture of an older gentleman instead of a woman.

It is within, it's in the heart, I don't wear makeup, you can like me as I am, or not at all.

When I downsized from my big house, I changed my phone number and didn’t give my address to a number of people and feel very happy.
