Let me do you one further on Maushold, give it a Kings Rock and it has a chance to now flinch on EVERY HIT of Population Bomb. Borderline guaranteed flinches as long as you outspeed.

I would say that Ceruledge deserves a spot on the list. He is speedy, has access to moves as Bitter Blade which has 90 power and heals you, swords dance and some other moves. You can win most 5 star terra raids with ease battling alone if it is level 75 or higher

I don't know man. Skeledirge can use Torch Song with 80 basepower and raising it's special attack by 1 stage. Together with a throat spray equipped you use this once, deal damage and have a 2 times attack boost scaling EVEN higher WHILE dealing dmg so... I'd argue that it is on par, maybe even higher than the other 2 starters.

Honourable mention to Tinkerton. Steel, Fairy typing is actually the most ridiculous typing in the game!

Can't believe you didn't mention gholdengo's ability that prevents it from taking any stat debuffs from other pokemon. Immunity to all status effects, and having its stat boosts protected from raid bosses is what truly makes this pokemon broken for raids

I know Skeledirge isnt crazy fast, but it's also pretty bulky. Torch song is a base 80 power stab move that also raises sp atk by one stage, combine that with the throat apray item and it's essentially a great fire attack that is also a nast plot when you use for the first time in a battle. Then it just keeps getting stronger as you use torch song more, great for sweeping end game trainers and raids, which is why it's top 5 in the category of most commonly used in online raids. It also learns will o wisp and hex, which is a great combo for big damage and can really help with nerfing enemy physical attackers.

I’ve seen as for broken Pokémon, Arboliva. You get a free grassy terrain set up, you can use leech seed first move, you have mega drain, you have pollen puff, and you have big root. It is a very powerful wall

The paradox Pokémons abilities only boost their highest stat by 1.3 and speed by 1.5

espathra is pretty nice too, an ostrich thats pure psychic, and copies every stat boost your enemy applies to himself while also having a signature move thats 80 power 100 accuracy and a 100%drop of the enemies spdef by 2 stages

Y’all make awesome content. I found your channel when elden ring came out and found it incredibly helpful. Can’t believe you’re helping us with pokemon now lol. Thanks for the great content

Gotta say you're missing out on Skeledirge. Torch Song is solid damage on its own, but +1 Special Attack every time you use it is immensely powerful. On top of that, the move can trigger the Throat Spray item, meaning the first time you use it, your SpAtk doubles. It starts out at 75-85% of Miraidon's power, and one turn in it's hitting as hard as Mewtwo. It also gets great coverage with Fire and Ghost STAB along with access to Earth Power, Solarbeam, Disarming Voice, and a good number of status moves.

It's got respectable bulk and has more resistances / immunities than the other starters as well as fewer weaknesses than Meowscarada (and the same as Pompaduck). Its middling speed can easily be overcome with Flame Charge (an early TM now), or in doubles Sticky Web (which Spidops gets early) or Tailwind (also a TM now). Torch Song makes it so you can use a Speed increasing nature without worrying about damage, or you can even make it work on a Trick Room team using a Quiet nature and boosting damage even more.

The other starters are fine and have their strong points for sure, but where one gets fast and another hits extremely reliably, Skeledirge just ramps up better than they can while also having far better defenses and typing than either one.

Skeledirge
Quiet natured
Unaware as it’s ability
Moveset:
Torch song
Shadow ball
Sleep talk
Rest
Held item; scope lens

This build out preforms the other starters by miles in raids. I’d rank him top 5 over all raid Pokémon (currently)

Regarding Maushold, you can even give it King's Rock to make it a flinching monster with stupid high damage. Even if the tanks wall you, you're still probably stopping their attacks while chipping away at them.

Regarding Quark Drive/Protosynthesis, ONLY speed is 50% increase all the other stats are actually 30%. This actually does make roaring moon significantly weaker in competitive than previously thought, STILL it is strong. Also box legends tied for secret zero spot, but because they are dirty sandwich thieves they weren't ranked I'm assuming.

iron Valiant is so good if u know how to use him and the Fairy fighting type is actually pretty good for a lot of tera raids i reccomend just looking at its stats and giving it a go :)

I think Punching Glove actually boost 1.1 punching damage, not 1.5, I love these vids^^

Honorable mention should also mention a overlooked pokemon you can get on the first route of the game I can sum up in one sentence. "Huge Power adamant Azumarril uses Play Rough/Aqua Tail."

I’ve actually been thinking of giving Maushold a similar build to Sejun Park’s Pachirisu for doubles.

Since it has Friend Guard for an ability. You can equip it with Follow Me, Super Fang, & Tidy Up, then you could still have Population Bomb to weaken Sturdy & Focus Sash users
