Continuing with my apparent run of soppy Disney songs for fingerstyle guitar, here's the Sherman Brother's "Feed The Birds" from the 1964 film Mary Poppins. A beautiful song performed by Julie Andrews in the film. I grew up on DIsney and the music from those films has clearly had a huge influence on my own.

this song brings back some of the best childhood memories when things wern't always ok. Mary Poppins was an escape. I watched it so many times and it's still my favorite movie to this day.

A tuppence?! That bird lady had some cheek charging a fortune for bird feed!! Still… it’s not about the price, she kind of explains it in the song. It’s more for bringing happiness through hard times for feeding birds and kids faces light up with smiles and memories. 😊

I'm a fingerstyle player myself - excellent, bro. Clean as a whistle. So often people try to do too much and it ruins the emotion. You avoided that by just concentrating on that beautiful melody. And somewhere out there are 4 really jealous (and probably immature) players who were so upset they can't play this clean they gave you a thumbs down. Good work, John!
