I had PBA as a 12-13 year old an it tries to rise up every 11 years or so.
Yes I ha lots of head injuries and one day walking back home from elementary school the moment I opened up the front door and closed it I just had to instantly lay down as it was very hot outside
then a feeling of just wanting to cool off came over me then 5 minutes later I started laughing and the first 5 minutes as I laughed my family was laughing with me and they kept asking what was so funny.... I lay there replying I don't know.... It lasted about up to 4 minutes and the last 15 minutes the laughing was starting to scare me as now I was laughing and crying at the same time.
Near the 30 minute point I was now very tired form the laughing and it exhausted all my energy as it was not just a simple laugh but the kind you also feel in your gut which is why i felt so drained of energy.

I least now I know it has a name for PBA. I never had it checked out by a doctor in my life. Now I think I should have it looked at.

Thanks. Don't know about PBA n how is related to people who have traumatic brain injury, chronic traumatic encephalopathy and multiple sclerosis not to mention strokes. So I say thank you very much for sharing here
