That "Hoshiana!" at the end never fails to give me chills with the Hebrew. Though I'm Jewish, my Hebrew is limited. I do know that one word, though. Hoshiana, meaning "save us". Deliver us!

When the men’s first verse all say the name of the most High, Elohim, it is powerful. As only his name could be. Beautiful in this language

This sound more "real", like we actually live it.

A: this done in a place it deserves, and with sound equipment up to par with the original

B: the chorus sung in unison by every language possible. Hebrew, English, German, Arabic, Egyptian, Greek, Latin, etc etc etc. To here the people of the world call out to God like this would be incredible.

Grew up Catholic and loved this movie. Even now as an Atheist, I still love it and this version hits so much harder.

Ofra was such a gift not to just Israel but to the world! Her voice was incredible and resonates with listeners even to this day! All you need to do is hear Ofra sing once and you are forever moved by her artistry her vocals are what the angels in heaven sound like! She’s just amazing and I like so many others miss her💔
