I feel like the comparison would of been better if you had both lights mounted side by side and pointing at the same direction. Having the rigids on top pointed to the floor and the dd low on the bumper pointed forwards, isn’t really a fare comparison. But either way both lights are awesome and you can’t go wrong with either.

Thabk you for your videos my friend! I thought about getting the floods but you showed me that the driving offers more side illumination.

Great comparison. Raising the Rigids up a bit to not waste that hot spot. Have you done a comparison or recommendation for rear lights mounted flush in the bumper and used for backing up? (diffused or other option)

I just ordered the dss pros flood this morning. Wonder what the difference between the flood and driving pattern is real world usage wise

Rigid is night and day better than Diode Dynamics. DD will beat them in brightness every now and then (like in the SS3 max fogs which are brighter than they’re supposed to be for an SAE light), but Rigid is the one you want for quality and proper execution. Rigid has the best patterns and longevity of any aux light brand. DD uses cheap components that create radio interference. DD’s plug and play bulbs for turn signals and brakes and such are also very poor performing. I use VLEDS when I need a good bulb.

Anyways, good video.

Just put some Rigid SR-Qs in my bumper as backup lights, soon I’m adding D-SS driving for ditch lights, and a 30” SAE bar to boost my high beam. Can’t wait!

First time getting pod lights, based off your earlier comparison vid and this one I like the Rigid. Which out of the three Rigid links you provided would work best for additional daily driving and light off roading?

Considering you've neutered the ss3 pro with a combo instead of driving this is your result. The rigid by design is a inferior light. Only with the combo lens on the diode would the rigid exceed.

Are you angling the rigid lights outward here, or are they supposed to shoot out to the sides rather than toward the front?

Great video 🫡 I think I want to get the Rigid Adapt XP extreme power sports light to use as a ditch light.

Where is the Baja Design comparison. You could also give the full details of each light.
