Those long "LinuxJedi" design RGBtoHDMI boards are the way to go. I ended up with 3 of the original small version from reputble vendors (trying to support people) and all of them have awful pixel shimmer that no amount of modding with different capacitors could fix.

Use a hdmi to DVI cable? I do and it works well on a Dell 3:4

Love that there's still kit being made for the Amiga's.
Have you tried the method of leaving monitor off, cable disconnected, before powering on the Amiga, then monitor, then connect the VGA? or maybe was connect VGA before power on monitor. I have had a number of those Dell's over the years, until the era of widescreens.

Sitting on Pi's ouch try storing them on a shelf.. in other news I watched the video, have the same RGB2HDMI in my A500plus as well, very impressed with it and the TF536 make it a very nice Amiga to have. 2mb chip, 64mb fast, nice clear RGB digital HDMI output to my new Dell monitor and IDE storage. Also have the A1000 RGB2HDMI I need to finish building then I have nice clear RGB and RTG from the PiStorm.

HDMI is very good for Workbench, but games will probably look less good.

old flat screen lcd's like that though have horrible image quality compared to a CRT though.

yet again chip replace with another raspberry. why not just grab RGB signals and turn it hdmi. how hard it is

can any1 here get really high on Donkey King on the Dragon 32?? because its a superb game i love it !!!! my score on Donkey King was 888, 888 points yep!!!!

Unless the TV/monitor has a native resolution of exact multiples of 768x576 it's never going to look as good as on an 80s Sony/Panasonic CRT via SCART RGB ;) (Commodore monitors had horrible quality CRT tubes, a real waste of money)
