A father-and-son blues rock band, Buck69, is a dynamic force in the music industry, skillfully blending the timeless essence of old-school blues with contemporary electric sounds. Drawing inspiration from over three generations of music, their influences encompass the who, what, where, when, and how of everyday life. For Buck69, music is not just a form of expression but a medium through which they immortalize the people, places, and experiences that shape their lives, whether joyous or somber, celebrating life or confronting mortality. Their songs reflect the journey along life's highway, always in search of that one unforgettable composition. They understand that while singers, writers, and musicians may come and go, a truly great song lives on eternally.

In 2002, after a brief hiatus to prioritize family and career, Tom Clawson, formerly of T.C. Rogers & The Blue’s Hamilton Band in 1970s Warren, OH (Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist), joined forces with his eldest son Alex Clawson from the band Bath House Betty in Toledo, OH (Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist) to create an acoustic duo. Performing original compositions and covers in and around the local Toledo, Ohio area, they soon embraced the idea, proposed by Alex, of forming a full band in June 2004. Buck69's repertoire spans a timeless range of blues, roots rock, and Americana, appealing to listeners of all ages.

The band's accomplishments speak volumes about their talent and dedication:

- In 2007, they were honored with the title of "Best Self-Produced Blues CD" by The Black Swamp Blues Society.
- Their song "When She Whispers Your Name" was submitted to the 2008 International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis, TN.
- They received a nomination for Entertainer of the Year at the 2008 Texas Roots Music Association Awards.
- Their album "When She Whispers Your Name" was a first-round qualifier in the Grammy's Best Contemporary Blues Album category in 2008.
