I'm guessing a class that studies the mythology, psychology, and symbolism of vampires. There's a class like that at my friend's university, but it's a bit more specific.

@Ally657 I almost feel like the Elena in the show is more similar to Meredith than the book Elena, both in looks and personality. Which is fine by me because I think Meredith is more down-to-earth and not as shallow as book Elena.

To be honest, the whole sacrificial attitude TV Elena has getting old. The books are darker than the show in some ways.

I love Damon in the books in a different way though; he's just SO powerful and scary. He looses that image in the show after season 1.

Stefan is the same somehow....tells you how good of an actor Paul Weasley is.
