For those wondering, Italy did not colonize Ethiopia in ww2. Ethiopia was never declared to be a colony snd was instead one of several occupied nations of the second world war

Alot of videos says that Ethiopia was never colonized. Italy actually failed to colonize it first time, but back in 3 October 1935, for the second time Italian troops under the rule of Benito Mussolini, conquered and colonized Ethiopia, by defeating the capital, Addis Abeba on the 5 May of 1936.
Ethiopia WAS colonized. The only country which was never colonized is only Liberia, not Ethiopia.

Guys.. as an ethiopian who studied history, i am cringing at most of the comments saying “what about italy”. Italy never colonized ethiopia, it was a brief 5 year occupation during and before WW2. With this logic, you are saying that france has been colonized by nazi germans in WW2.
