The "no more updates" is not a reason to avoid any phone as long as you can do what you want with the current software. The S20+ is also the last galaxy you can get that accepts an SD card for storage expansion. I had an S10+ that never felt like it was lagging behind, and it's foolish to drop over $1K on the newest phones when you can pick up one of these for about $250. The S20 is still officially supported up to Android 13 and once that ceases you can start using lineage OS or something similar. The reasons to buy new phones are very artificial and forced. My friend still has an S9+ going strong.

Previously I was using an Exynos version of the s20+. I've experienced heat issues with the Exynos version. Now that I am using a Snapdragon version of the s20+, no problem at all!

using it since nov 2020.had green line issue 1 year back and got screen and battery replacement then for free.screen and camera are top notch.and battery backup is moderate for an average user.never experienced a single lag or stutter in these 3 years

I bought my S20 FE 2 years ago and it's still running really well no weird bugs at all.

The amazing thing i like with Samsung is that their ecosystem is simple yet sooo enjoyable and smooth, i'm with an ol' amazin' gear s3 frontier and buds 2 pro and i feel like a premium user so far, even when i didn't paid that much for that 😅.

That's the only thing i disagree, even if there's not software updates, it'll still be great when you that see older phones from them are still amazing.

I had this phone for o er 2 and 1/2 years. The end of support is what did it for me. Traded it in for the s23 lineup.

Had it since April 2020 and never felt the need to upgrade, until I got tired of having to charge it 2-3 times a day, with moderate usage (such as at work). Upgraded to the S24 Ultra today.

Bought a "USED TO NEW" S20 plus last week for $229. Better design than any of my iphones. The camera is perfect with simultaneous dual recording mode for front and rear cameras. I put a 512GB sd card and on battery life I'm getting 2 days. Also as limo driver GPS is paramount and this thing is absolutely wonderful with zero issues
