I've always loved this song...
A friend I grew up with; we both were learning to play guitar in the mid-60's this song was the first song I ever played using note harmony, as my friend played the chord progression perfectly. We played at a school event where we both became air-heads. We were so full of ourselves.
We both entered the service in 1968. I never saw him again.
