Meet the Slavins – an inspirational couple from Sydney, Australia, doing incredible things for the Jewish community and beyond. They established the OBK in 2005. ‘Our Big Kitchen’ is a community kitchen in the heart of Bondi that inspires individuals to come together to help people in need. Last year over 80 000 meals were made and distributed to disadvantaged Australians. We hear about the way in which they employ former offenders and help them to rehabilitate in to society through giving. It was particularly inspiring to learn about the links we make across the Jewish world, and how Rabbi Lord Sack made an impact on one individual, thousands of miles away.
