Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta is coming August 30th. Today I wanted to talk to you about my personal wish list for Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta. These are going to be items that are important to me and aren't necessarily intended to be representative of the community as a whole.

7:00 having 15 grips that do the same but just with a few differences in number just doesn't make sense.
But having like 10 different grips that do vastly different things is completely fine.

What I'd wanna see is the good ol' BO1 currency system where we could unlock the attachments we need from the big list of attachments, instead of the current style of unlocks. We used to gain green currency after matches and what I also LOVED in BO1 was wager matches, you can gamble with that credit and play matches of example - gun game and first 3 players on the scoreboard get the in game currency. IMO that would be fantastic!!

I hope they have a legitimate challenge system. The rewards dont matter too too much, just something to work for in game other than just play more=number goes up

I would just like to have a game that finally gives objective players more credit without the negatives of KD ratios and camos being linked to kills only.

My wishlist:


1- DMZ



The most goated mode by far. Best experience ive ever had in FPS, never met any cheaters, no SBMM, perfect looting system, perfect ttk and movement. And with Omni movement would be suuperr crisp 🤞🏽

My wishlist:

Guns:
1. Make firing aim stability a standard, focus on horizontal and vertical recoil only
2. No annoying muzzle smoke/flash
3. No off-center reddots
4. No way-to-easy to use one shot guns
5. mwIII-like camo unlock system

Maps:
1. 3-lanes
2. Logical spawns, map control/objective based.
3. Lower headglitches, like mwIII, unlike mwII
4. Mapsides balanced (not 1 side of map overpowered)

Gameplay:
1. No random gas canisters
2. No annoying grenade/killstreak smoke (cruise missile, frag grenade)
3. No uncounterable systems(i.e. gas grenades)
4. Remove the one-way smokes exploit
5. Clear visibility
6. Stairglitching removed
7. No sbmm
8. Prestiging is rewarded by good prestige shop

Killstreaks:
1. Scorestreaks/killstreak option
2. Loopable killstreaks without earning score for already called in streaks
3. MOAB/DNA-type nuke
4. Easy to shoot down to avoid killstreak spam
5. Specialist returns

Menus:
1. Vertical text based menu (old school)
2. Easy to navigate
3. Playercount
4. Working leaderboards
5. Killstreak kills and amount of called in to track which one is best
6. Death by enemy gun to track which gun you die by the most

If it has SBMM, I won't be coming back. I'm enjoying other games. No matter how many improvements they make, SBMM will always kill my enjoyment. The last thing I want is to invest my time into a game that will only punish me for improving.

I miss custom score streaks from Advanced warfare. I thkught that was a great system and would love to see it make a return

List probably won’t come true but this is what I want
scorestreak looping

Paint job, custom emblem, camo mixing, choice of whether or not the camo takes up the full weapon or just the body

No EOMM

I trust treyarch with everything else like ttk map design weapon balancing etc.

What players want:
- no SBMM
- operators and cosmetics that fit with the era

What players will get:
- SBMM
- rainbow vomit anime cyborg skins
- Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj twerking Godzilla to death in -Fortnite- Warzone for the 20th time

TTK should be adjusted based on the pace of title. For CODs with high mobility like MW3 it should be faster, for CODs with low mobility like MW2 if should be slower.

Instead we get the opposite and it causes frustration. MW3 for example has such a high skill ceiling it feels very competitive and makes SBMM feel worse. MW2's is too low its frustrating.

Choosing between high mobility and slow TTK is what we should be doing instead of having both at the same time. Thats why fast TTK sucks in MW2.

I'm a game designer and this is just my philosophy I stick too for casual games.

Really hope they fix their anti cheat - and not just on the side of stopping more cheaters, but also by reducing or hopefully eliminating false bans and suspensions. Its so frustrating to encounter cheaters and then get shadow banned yourself (for supposed cheating). Ive been shadow banned 6x this year for over a months worth of time, which is pretty insane, especially since i know other people have it worse

Imagine you have a local steakhouse that you and everyone who lives near you have fond memories of going to that steak house regularly and eating the best steaks in the world.

Then one day the head chef decides to start marinating every single steak in peanut butter and absolutely refuses to serve it any other way no matter how hard his reviews drop or how many customers he loses.

People rightfully complain about the peanut butter but they all agree the actual steak underneath it is amazing or at least decent.

Once they stop serving the damn peanut butter on the steaks I’ll happily come back.

SBMM is a complicated subject and a common topic of conversation in my gaming circles. I think a certain degree of it is beneficial for the community to prevent burnout and frustration in a player base with such a wide spectrum of skill levels. But IMO, it’s tuned too strong as it is currently handled because it’s so obvious and statistically measurable.
I can absolutely feel a difference depending on whose lobby I join:
I would say I’m a statistically good player with an MW3 KD of 1.8 after 130 hours of play. In my lobbies I typically average 1.5-2.5 KD (it’s been trending upwards since I’ve been playing more consistently).
When I play with my friends who are decent, I’m 3-5 KD.
On the extreme side, the other day I joined my buddy’s wife (who is still learning how to play) in her game mid-match (so therefore I didn’t affect SBMM) and went 133-6 which is a 22 KD for those counting.

There is a clear influence of SBMM and while it’s shitty on the one hand (can’t tell you how many times I’ve bitched about dumb teammates like I’m sure we all have) it also helps make the game more accessible to a wider range of skill level (so people like my friends can learn without getting frustrated by someone pre-aim jump-shooting them around a blind corner).

The problem is that with super linear recoil, people who use modded controllers will have aimbot basically since they can perfectly remove the recoil with a script
