Trevor, I'm no expert rower but I disagree about bent arms being more powerful. The arms are effectively an interface between the legs and the oar. Similar to deadlifting and the clean portion of the clean and jerk, the arms should the weight should 'hang' from the arms to maximise the leg drive. Deadlifting or cleaning a weight with bent arms would lead to a very weak lift.

Not a bad intro, but she does engage the back too early and she is too upright. She needs more body angle into the catch. Also the elbows are locked out and arms a little too stiff. Despite what some coaches teach this is incorrect. A slight bend at the elbow is actually more powerful. But I liked the video overall.
