Little Red Riding Hood is an American animated television series created by Craig McCracken, known for his work on The Powerpuff Girls, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, and Wander Over Yonder. The series is produced by CMCC Cartoons, Titmouse, Klasky Csupo, and Amazon MGM Studios, and it premiered on Prime Video on March 5, 2025. Rated TV-Y7, the show blends action, fantasy, and comedy with a modern reimagining of the classic fairy tale.

Premise
Set in a magical forest where the lines between myths and reality blur, Little Red Riding Hood follows Red, a spunky, resourceful young girl with a bright red hood and a knack for solving mysteries. Together with her friends—a talking wolf named Waldo, a brave woodcutter-in-training named Milo, and a witty forest spirit named Thistle—Red takes on magical quests, protects her village from dark forces, and uncovers hidden secrets about her family’s past.

While inspired by the traditional fairy tale, the series expands the world with new characters, lore, and a deeper focus on friendship, courage, and self-discovery. Each episode features Red and her team navigating challenges posed by enchanted creatures, mischievous villains, and magical artifacts, all while unraveling an overarching mystery about the forest’s ancient magic.
