Bob Woodruff Foundation

Показать описание
Up to 20 percent of Iraq and Afghanistan vets return with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) or post-traumatic stress. ABC News anchor Bob Woodruff suffered a TBI when a roadside bomb nearly killed him in 2006 near Baghdad, where he was on assignment. He awoke from a monthlong induced coma with a mission: to serve U.S. veterans by giving them access to the support and resources they deserve, for as long as they need. His Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) helps them thrive, and we work to raise awareness of TBIs--the hidden injuries of war--and help wounded vets attain semi-wellness.
