My Dad had a way to dance around the gift giving issue. Twice a year he eould take My M other out shopping. This wiuld be an epic undertaking most men would furn tail and runaway from. Order of the day was Mom was to shop till she dropped. The mere thought of an all day shopping event and the accompaning expense made me think my Dad had list his mind. 10 hours of standjng by waitng for Mom to decide if a certain color looked good on her. It was Mom's day to shop for clothes. My Dad How he lovdd my Mother. Dad had his various boats over the years which he proudly maintained and Captained. Mom would stand next to him and followed his lead while on the water. On land The home and moms wardrobe was her domain which my Dad honored twice a year. This give and take lasted 53 years.
To all men who own boats may you have the luck to find that perfect gift. I belive that the perfect gift is the mutual love and respect that i witnessed between my parents.

Not a thing worse than having a boat that won't go. Never went sea tow. Worst thing whatever happened with my boat is my steering cable broke I got her back to the ramp, with a 5 gallon bucket and a rope.
