This is the new Lamborghini Urus Performante, the harder, faster version of the most popular Lamborghini ever made. The Urus first burst onto the scene in 2018 and quickly solidified itself as the pinnacle of super sports utility vehicles. It has become the best selling Lamborghini of all time and it isn't hard to see why.
Now Lamborghini have aimed to take it to new heights with the new Urus Performante, the 4.0 litre V8 has been made slightly more powerful amongst a host of other incremental changes. The result is nothing short of sensational.

Oh, Matt, where to begin? Firstly excellent video. Production levels, drone shots and location. Superb! A whole new level. Which equally describes the Urus Performante. As You know, not my 'cup of tea' for all manner of reasons. That said the tech and simply breaking the rules of science. Just should not work! As You say ''Bonkers''! And the price too no doubt. I cannot begin to calculate the cost of filling the tank. But if you are a a premiership footballer that is of no concern. Could this be your 'car of 2023'? It's only January! Hopefully, when you get your hands on the new BMW M2 then that will be your car of the decade! Excellent review Matt. Thank You.

Not as versatile as the standard Urus upgraded to the S:

No air suspension.

Which on the Audi RSQ8 is used with its incline-o- meter to operate the active anti roll bars, for flat high speed cornering.

Reduced ground clearance without the air suspension and missing several Drive Modes:

Terra - the main off road mode.

Nevé - driving in snow.

Sabia - driving in sand.

The Performanté has a single extra drive mode:

Rally - for driving on dirt roads and sliding the rear with oversteering.

Both models share:

Strada - street/ road.

Sport.

Corsa - track.

The Performanté has less sophisticated coil springs and is lower and wider.

It comes with 16 BHP more, at 666 BHP than the model they both replace, which has 650 BHP.

Autocar India, 9:20 with Renuka Kirpalani, a race and rally driver, drove the Performanté last November 2022 at the International launch, in Rome, Italy.

India is a growing developing market for Lamborghini.
