Borgeson makes an Anti-Vibe U-Joint which they recommend be at the last coupling to the column. I have one on my 37 Chev PU. It's not as sloppy as a Rag joint.

I'm sure borgeson makes good stuff, but if I had a Saginaw box, I would get a quick ratio from Lee Power Steering. They are the leaders in Saginaw boxes. Fully rollerized. They even have their own formula of fluid.

I need to find someone who has one of these installed so I can feel the difference. My '72 Monte turns way too easy for the amount of HP. Not the most comfortable feeling.

Prob a stupid question, but will that steer box and shaft work on the stock column for an 87 R10? Trying to just bolt on something better, not a great mechanic, but cheaper to do it myself. Thank you
