Setting up Visual Studio Code IntelliSense with Revit API. This is from a conversation on the Dynamo BIM form. I thought I would add it to YouTube. We continue to miss the Dynamo dll, but this is a start.

The VSCode reporting the pre-load modules are deprecated- now there is something called Jedi?

So if we don't use "python.autoComplete.preloadedModules", how can we insert Autodesk.Revit.UI/DB?
I used "python.jediEnabled" to replace it, but when I type Autodesk or Revit, I don't see intellisense working...

Thanks,

Is there a way to run python scripts in VScode with a live connection to de dynamocore.dll API or RevitBatchProcessor or RevitPythonShell?

Thanks for the video Danny, any reasons why you didn't use the community version?

Just a quick question.
Did they somehow manage to integrate CPython into revit? Cos, you were linking a 3.5 python into the python intellisense?

If so I'd be very happy because IronPython is like.... very very old. Can't even use numpy :/
