Hornby's Virgin Pendolino Class 390

I got this model a year or two back, but I've since expanded it, and added cars, so I decided to re-film this review in HD.

In case you are wondering, the opening clips are from Liverpool South Parkway - a friend and I were watching trains whilst waiting for another service back to Liverpool when a couple of these shot through.

my grandfather was in 101 squadron, part of a lancaster bomber squadron, i really like this train, that detail is superb, is it still for sale?

Hi, yeah - that is really interesting! Some of my US side of the family were involved in WWII as well. I think that particular Pendolino is still made - though it might be hard to find now. This one came out of the DCC Ready train pack - i.e. no track or controller, just the power cars and coaches.

This one is now DCC fitted - most locomotives tend to run WAY more smoothly that way. You should see Silver Link etc runs now - the degree of fine control available is pretty amazing...

The reason why the windows are dark is, hornby have added deatail to make it look like the real thing because it has blacked out windows in real life

its a normal English train, wow trains must be slow over in America
