Why not just name the video “here’s an advertisement for roccbox”?

I have the roccbox and I love it. Plus I got it on sale for $399.00

The Ooni 16 costs about $1, 200. Be wary when you say "even heat distribution" in the Roccbox. That implies that you don't need to turn your pizza while cooking - you do. The Roccbox comes with a large, launching, peel but if you need a turning peel - which you do - that's a separate purchase, about $70. The wood burning option is also a separate purchase, costing about $100.

To be fair, I would say the Ooni is better using the wood burner. The tray is bigger and easier to replenish. The Roccbox wood burner requires constant attention for the first hour - replenishing every 3 minutes or so. And you should add some wood about a minute or two before every pizza launch.

Also, the Ooni stone is removeable for easy cleaning. The Roccbox stone is stuck in there. And if it cracks, it's a pain to fix and replace.

On that, I would give it to the Ooni.

I do have a Roccbox and I love it. The Ooni 12 is still good, from what I've heard, and costs less. You can't really go wrong with either of them.

If you plan to use Karu has a wood oven Karu beats roccbox. But roccbox gas performance beats Ooni easily. Karu 12 burner tops out at 850 without windscreen. And 920f with windscreen. Roccbox goes easily to 1000+. And roccbox recharge time between pizzas is shorter too. 1-2 mins vs 5-7 mins on the karu. Karu gets all the above mentioned roccbox performance running on wood.

This video did not give a balanced view, but was heavily biased to Roccbox…..I suspect some advertising $$ came from Roccbox. Ooni has retractable legs, is so much lighter and easier to transport.

Today im going to read the roccbox sales brochure to you and flash pics of some other thing every now and then

Uh/, the karu 12 also has detachable burners, foldable legs and is extremely portable. That should not be a deciding factor between the two. This shows you have no idea what you are talking about.

It’s the Roccbox for me definitely. If you have a few people to cook for or pizza party. Then it’s the Roccbox it has a thicker base. It’s actually double the thickness of the ooni. So it retains heat amazingly. You can keep putting pizza after pizza without waiting for the stone to heat up again after cooking. On the ooni you have to wait a few minutes for the base to heat up because it loses heat retention because the stone is so thin. Roccbox Rocks all night long

One thing for sure, I saw a lot of pizza butchering in this video 😬

Great review, I have the Roccbox I really like it, the only downfall I say it’s hard to clean and even with a gray cleaning doesn’t look nearly as good as when you first got it
