This videos shows how to build serverless applications on AWS using SAM(Serverless Application Model) framework.

There are various advantages of Serverless computing, these are:

1. Savings on Compute Cost: You don’t need to run servers all the time. You would consume compute capacity only when there are live requests. What that means is that you save significant costs on compute resources
2. Savings on Operational Costs: Also you don’t need to manage and maintain infrastructure i.e servers. Thus you save on the operational cost as well as the headache of running and maintain servers
3. You get Auto Scaling for free. Auto Scaling is the process where you automatically scale up when load increasing and scale down when it decreases. With AWS Serverless computing you do not need to explicitly configure Auto Scaling as you have to do with EC2 instances. Rather you get it for free
