Local Government Elections 2022

There is a local government election coming up later in the year, and this video explains everything you need to know!

✅ If you recently voted in the state elections, you are already enrolled to vote and will automatically receive a voting pack at your place of residence in October.

✅Voting in a council election is open to just about everyone including residents, business owners, body corporates and organisations.

✅ If you recently turned 18 or changed your residential address or name, you must complete an electoral enrolment form which is available from the Electoral Commission of South Australia or your local Post Office.

✅ Enrolment to vote closes on Friday 29 July 2022

✅ Voting papers will be sent in the mail to all registered voters from Friday 14 October 2022
