I was born in 2000 and didn't know who she was and how I got to know her, but this somehow touches me a lot. It may be because I am a big fan of the royals, but even if I wasn't I would have know this woman was the most kindest soul that once walked on this world. Rest her soul 😢

I will never forget that day. My husband and I had been invited to a lunchtime function and had spent the morning relaxing and getting ready - we hadn't switched the news on at all. As we were driving to the event we noticed a couple of flags at half mast and out first thought was that the Queen Mother had died - she was in her very late 90s at that time so it seemed the most likely reason. When we arrived there was a state of disbelief and distress in the hall and we asked what had happened. We were stunned to be told of the tragic events in Paris, absolutely stunned.

I am an American. I adored Princess Diana. Her kindness was so obvious, one look into her beautiful blue eyes showed such a tender soul. I *still* cry when seeing any video of her.
I remember hearing that William couldn’t understand why people said they loved his mother, when they had never met her. I am sitting here now with tears streaming down my face. It was easy to love a young lady that was so kind. Her eyes were like a window into her soul. Pure kindness. I will miss her as long as I have breath in my body. I was 42 years old when she passed, not much older than her. To know how much she loved her sons and would never want to be away from them tears at my heart. My daughter was only 4 years older than William.
God rest her beautiful soul💔
